Anti-inflammatory turmeric to boost our immune systems and alot more..

When under stress we inflame our bodies which can take its toll on the immune system and our body as a whole. A great way to boost our immune system is to offset the damage of free radicals and acidity by eating and drinking turmeric. Curcumin is the active ingredient in turmeric and when black pepper is added it becomes bioavailable to us. It is highly anti-inflammatory and is proven to have numerous health benefits including: aiding with colds and flu, relieving aches and pains, increasing our antioxidant capacity, improving our brain function, relieving depression, as well as aiding many other inflammatory conditions throughout the body. A simple and delicious recipe that is easily accessible to us is to make a turmeric hot drink. Drinking hot drinks also stimulates the immune system in general. This drink has helped me on many occasions and is definitely one of my "go to's". Even when I felt like I needed a caffeine pick me up and had a turmeric drink instead I have felt more alert and refreshed. Enjoy♥️

The very anti-inflammatory turmeric hot drink:

1 tsp organic turmeric

1 tip tsp black pepper

1 tip tsp cayenne pepper

1 tip tsp 100% raw organic virgin coconut oil

1 tsp raw honey

2 slices lemon

Place dry ingredients in a cup with boiling hot water, let stand until it comes to drinkable temperature, then add coconut oil, raw honey and the 2 slices of lemon.

*Turmeric does have blood thinning properties so if you are on blood thinning medications, please consult your doctor.
